2 C. vegetable oil
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury Refrigerated
1/2 C. powdered sugar
Crescent Dinner Rolls
milk
1 snack-size container vanilla pudding
additional caramel sauce
2 tbsp caramel sauce
Directions
1. Separate the crescent dough into 4 rectangles and press the holes tightly to seal.
2. arrange 2 rectangles onto a smooth surface.
3. Top each with another rectangle.
4. Now, fold each stack in half widthwise.
5. With a 3-inch biscuit cutter, cut 1 round from each stack and then, with a 1/2-inch biscuit cutter, cut a small hole in center of each round.
6. Reroll the remaining dough from both stacks and make a third doughnut in the same way.
7. In a deep skillet, add the oil and cook until its temperature reaches to 325 degrees F.
8. Add the doughnuts in batches and cook until golden brown from both sides.
9. Add the doughnuts and cook for about 5 minutes, flipping once half way through.
10. With a slotted spoon, transfer the doughnuts onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
11. Keep aside to cool for about 5 minutes.
12. Carefully, cut each doughnut in half.
13. In a pipping bag, fitted with tip, place the pudding.
14. Pipe half of the pudding onto the bottom half of each doughnut and top each with some of the caramel sauce and salt.
15. Cover each bottom half with the top of doughnut.
16. For the glaze: in a bowl, add the powdered sugar and enough milk and mix until a desired consistency is achieved.
17. Coat the top of each doughnut with the laze.
18. Enjoy with a drizzling of the caramel sauce.
